Suncoast Hospice Senior Staff Nurse Danielle Wieder
Congratulations to our August Impact Award winner, Danielle Wieder, RN, senior staff nurse (SSN) for the Suncoast Hospice Bronze Team.
Wieder joined Suncoast Hospice in 2015. She started as Bronze Team’s primary care nurse before becoming the SSN.
“My primary care nurse role was rewarding as it provided me the honor to perform hands-on care with our patients and families. Being welcomed into their homes at their most vulnerable times is a remarkable feeling. Maintaining their trust while helping them through this process is unlike any other. As the SSN, I still have the ability to assist with patients’ experiences. I also have the pleasure of teaching, assisting and guiding the team alongside some amazing leadership partners on Bronze. Seeing the growth with the staff and within myself is amazing. It truly takes a village and one that I am proud to be a part of!”

She does not easily panic in the face of challenges; she remains calm and encourages everyone to figure out a way to work things out.”
