The quality of our experience is often determined by how we engage the person or activity before us. When we start our day grudgingly putting one foot in front of the other in order to “just get through it” that can’t help but impact how the day unfolds. Swiss author, Pierre Pradervand, offers another approach which sets us up for a better experience. He writes, I bless this day for the wonderful adventure it can become as I walk through it with the eyes of wonder rather than boredom, use every opportunity to express peace rather than irritation and choose love over fear.
